Sustainability
This year, as we gather at the iconic Concert Noble in Brussels, we are proud to integrate environmentally conscious practices into our event. Together, we can celebrate our industry while fostering positive change for the planet. Here’s how we’re making sustainability a central part of the Effie Awards Europe:
1. Measuring our carbon footprint
As the saying goes, “You can’t manage what you don’t measure”. For the first time, we are calculating the Effie Awards Europe’s carbon footprint. This allows us to understand our environmental impact and set measurable goals for future editions. By tracking our progress year over year, we aim to continuously reduce our footprint while maintaining the high standards you expect from us. You will be able to check out the report shortly after the event.
2. Waste reduction initiatives
After the event, our vendors will reuse items such as stage components and other materials to extend their lifespan and reduce landfill waste.
3. Sustainable food choices
Our gala menu will feature delicious vegetarian dishes designed with the planet in mind. Enjoy a flavourful dining experience that aligns with our commitment to sustainable food choices.
4. Going digital
To minimise paper usage, all event information will be accessible online. Stay informed, access resources, and engage with us digitally.
