Advertising: Trust and Responsibility in the Digital Era

The guest speaker at its first evening event will be Robin de Wouters, who will present the tools that can be used to increase consumers’ awareness over how their data is used in digital advertising. This will include:
- how tailored digital ads work overall;
- how consumers receive ads based on their social, cultural, commercial, and political behaviour online;
- why consumer education is essential to protect consumers in the digital era; and
- how European citizens perceive digital advertising (supported by EDAA’s latest consumer research).
