Audiovisual advertising: recommendations for a more level playing field

April 3 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This event will present the results and policy recommendations of our research project ‘The playing field in audiovisual advertising: What does it look like and who’s playing?’

This new report, led by CERRE Research Fellow Sally Broughton Micova* analyses the competition for advertising and sponsorship revenues between various producers and disseminators of audiovisual content.

It investigates the playing field of audiovisual advertising in which both legacy audiovisual media services and new online services are operating.

Join key actors from the media and digital sectors including industry players, regulators as well as representatives from the EU institutions to discuss the findings of this new research. Register here.

  • Free for CERRE members and CERRE academics
  • Free for representatives from EU Institutions and from Governments
  • Fee for non-CERRE members and non-CERRE academics

* Sally Broughton Micova is a Lecturer in Communications Policy and Politics, Centre for Competition Policy, University of East Anglia and Visiting Fellow, LSE Media Policy Project, London School of Economics and Political Science.
