Guidance: What Agencies Should Know About The GDPR

In the final months and weeks leading up to the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is important for agencies to be on top of the game. The GDPR will affect targeted marketing campaigns, imposing new rules on how personal data is to be handled and what internal procedures must be in place to ensure at least compliance and certainly risk minimisation.

EACA has collected a set of pointers for its members to read through in order to make sure that the key changes brought by the upcoming legislation are addressed in time. Furthermore, some lines are included on the likely content of the ePrivacy Regulation, as known at the time of publishing of this report.
