Tamara Daltroff

Tamara has more than 15 years of experience working in agencies and representing the communications sector at national & European level. Tamara joined EACA in 2010, and she was appointed Director General in 2018. She has been elected first President of the global alliance of agencies ‘VoxComm’ and sits on the Boards of EASA and EDAA. She supports the Effie World Wide Programme as its Partner Council Member. Tamara holds a MA in Business Administration and an Economics degree as well as a MA in European Studies. She speaks English, French, German and is happy when she can practice her Polish.

Laura Vingan

Having studied communications, journalism and management, Laura started her career with a traineeship at a European Agency in 2016, before moving into the membership associations’ world. She joined EACA in May 2021 and is in charge of the communications department and all its aspects, as well as other projects, namely INSPIRE and Advertising Europe. A native Romanian, she speaks English, French and a bit of Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travelling and live music (she’s definitely missing the good ol’ times at the moment).

Alexis Bley

Alexis is in charge of the Public Affairs Team representing the industry’s interests in front of European Policy-makers. He holds a Master’s degree in Business and Digital Law from Paris Sorbonne University. Prior to working for EACA, he has gained experience as a Trainee at the Council of the European Union, as a Legal Advisor at the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and as a Legal & Compliance Officer in the tech private sector. In his spare time, he enjoys doing music and sports. A Luxembourg native, Alexis is proficient in English, French, Spanish & German.

Nathalie Shammah

After working as an editorial assistant for a bilingual magazine, Nathalie joined EACA in 2013 as the Communications & Events Manager. Her role evolved over time and she currently oversees all the financial & business operations of the Association, and is in charge of Accounting and HR. In normal, pandemic-free times, Nathalie enjoys traveling to all corners of the world, having visited over 80 countries so far and looking to discover many more. Her dream trip to New Zealand was canceled due to covid-19 but Nathalie is adamant to make it there soon. She is fluent in French, Dutch and English.

Kasia Gluszak

Passionate about culture, media, and politics, Kasia went on to study Cultural Studies in Poland, Czech Republic, and Austria. After working in Berlin for an international NGO, she moved to Brussels to hone her skills in the agency world. In 2016, she joined EACA and runs edcom Institute, as well as two advertising awards programmes: Effie Europe for marketing effectiveness and IMC European Awards for brand activation. Outside of work, you can find Kasia either sailing and hiking, or cooking and watching movies (or most recently knitting for beginners videos!). She speaks Polish, English, and French, and is still hopeful about learning Dutch.

Benjamin Goodwin

Benjamin supports Alexis in EACA’s Public Affairs work, covering European regulatory developments, participating in industry initiatives and ensuring that the voice of communications agencies is heard in Brussels. He joined EACA from the Free University of Brussels (VUB) where he completed an MSc in European and International Governance. Prior to this, he worked in journalism at a Westminster-based politics and public affairs magazine and completed his BA in Politics and East European Studies at University College London. He enjoys travelling and is looking forward to that becoming easier again. Originally from London, he speaks English, French and a little bit of Ukrainian.

Lorenzo Canu

Passionate about PR, Lorenzo is a Communication specialist. At EACA, he manages social media, the newsletter and our websites. He also works with PR international associations in the dissemination of the Global PR & Communications Model. Prior to joining EACA in 2021, Lorenzo did an internship in a creative agency, participated in the M100 YEJ workshop in journalism and in Cannes Festival. Lorenzo graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Bologna with a thesis in Corporate Communication. He was involved in different associations such as CommToAction and ELSA. He speaks French, English, Italian and a bit of Spanish.

Miruna Gutu

Miruna has been an avid enthusiast about languages and communication well since a young age. Her personal and academic choices have always been guided by three principles: to be in a multicultural environment, to contribute to greater missions that truly matter for today’s society, and to keep challenging herself on a regular basis. She pursued a Multilingual Master’s in Mediation & Communication at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, then went on to join EACA in August 2021, where she helps manage the projects of the association which are mainly focused on marketing effectiveness and commercial communications education. In her spare time, she likes to learn languages, explore new horizons and make artistic embroidery.
