36 Finalists Shortlisted for the Effie Awards Europe 2019

Brussels, 19 June 2019: 36 campaigns have been selected by the first round jury to go through to the second and final round of the Effie Awards Europe 2019. The Effie Europe is an annual competition which rewards the most effective multi-national commercial communications campaigns in Europe and is the symbol of proven advertising effectiveness and a tribute to the client & agency partnership.

The finalists come from a range of agencies from Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Click here to see the finalist.

This year’s jury, for the first time in the history of the European programme, is co-chaired by a client and an agency leader: Bastien Schupp, Vice President, Global Brand Strategy and Marketing Communication at Groupe Renault and Harjot Singh, Chief Strategy Officer at McCann Worldwide. The jurors will meet on 26 & 27 June to review the shortlisted campaigns. The second round jury will bring together almost 40 senior industry executives from 17 countries and will determine 2019’s winners. The full round 2 jury can be found here.

The winners of this year’s competition will be announced on the evening of 15 October 2019 at the Awards Gala at La Madeleine, Brussels. The registrations for the Gala will open mid-July on the official Effie Europe website www.effie-europe.com. All winners will be published on the same website on 16 October 2019.

The Effie Awards Europe are organised by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) with the support of Facebook, Google, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA), The European Publishers’ Council, WARC, Adforum.com, Procter & Gamble, Nielsen, creativebrief & Viva Xpress Logistics.
