The Path to Sustainability: Ad Net Zero’s Vision for the Advertising Industry

At Cannes Lions 2023, Tamara Daltroff, CEO of EACA, was interviewed by ARPP – Autorité de Régulation Professionnelle de la Publicité – about Ad Net Zero and why the advertising industry needs to unite and commit to achieving net zero emissions by 2030.

She emphasised the importance of finding a common tool in the industry to calculate the sector’s emissions: “Over 45% of the advertising market is already part of Ad Net Zero, which is a very good start. The idea is to have even more actors join this framework. We are working on an emissions calculator to see the impact of ads, a topic that is very close to our hearts”.
