The Advertising Information Group, AIG, representing European advertising and media associations, has submitted its response to the European Commission’s Inception Impact Initiative Green Transition.
AIG strongly welcomes the Commissions commitment in aiming towards more sustainable products and services alongside the provision of more accurate and uniform information.
As part of its response AIG has advocated for the need to balance accurate, reliable information for consumers as well as not unduly burdening consumers with overly complex information. In turn AIG encourages the Commission to strengthen the information available at point of sale.
