Caroline Howe Announced as a New Chair for the Healthcare Communication Council
Brussels, 28 November 2023: The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Howe, CEO of Ogilvy Health EMEA & the UK, as the new Chair of the Healthcare Communications Council (HCC). Caroline succeeds Philip Chin, Chairman Europe of Publicis Health, who is retiring after having made significant contributions to the Council’s growth and success during his tenure.
The HCC, guided by a manifesto that underscores the transformative nature of working in health communications, emphasises the importance of owning the narrative in the industry. By leveraging its members’ specialisation in health, years of expertise, and creativity, the HCC aims to fuel a healthier, more informed society and support economic vitality across Europe.
As the CEO of Ogilvy Health EMEA & the UK, Caroline brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to advancing the quality and credibility of the industry. “As the newly appointed Chair of the Healthcare Communications Council, I am honoured to lead a council that plays a crucial role in shaping the healthcare communications landscape in Europe,” said Caroline Howe. “I am committed to advancing the HCC’s mission, fostering innovation, and amplifying the voice of our industry as a force for good.”
One of the first projects Caroline will lead is a collaborative paper on creativity in healthcare communications, set to be launched in the first quarter of 2024. In 2023, the group designed a best practices packed booklet on organisational health, well received in Europe.
The European Association of Communications Agencies extends its gratitude to Philip Chin for his outstanding leadership and looks forward to working together with the new Chair, Caroline Howe.
