Fighting the War with Creativity: Ukrainian Creative Stories UCS 2022 Winners are Out!
The Ukrainian Creative Stories (UCS) 2022 project, in the framework of the 23rd Kyiv International Advertising Festival, has just announced its winning campaigns. This initiative was organized by All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition VRK and Polish Marketing Communications Association SAR, with the assistance of Nova Poshta‘s positive change partner.
The Lithuanian project “The most important call” created by the agency Not Perfect Vilnius was awarded the Festival Grand Prix. Agencies from Georgia, Italy, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine and France also received gold awards.
In the difficult conditions of full-scale Russian aggression, the Kyiv International Advertising Festival was held in an abbreviated format, including only Positive Change categories for social campaigns. This year, a special category, Positive Change – #StandWithUkraine, was added for campaigns designed to demonstrate the current situation of war in Ukraine, crimes against humanity and support for Ukraine worldwide.
In addition to the winners’ announcement, there are two video presentations prepared within UCS to demonstrate the creative potential of professionals in the advertising industry of Ukraine to the world: “Advertising Industry at War” and “United Showreel of Ukrainian Agencies”.
“Advertising Industry at war” shows what agencies are doing today and how they help in the information war, an important part of our country’s fight against the aggressor. This video has already been shown at the Bulgarian festival FARA and will also be presented at other international advertising events together with the UCS results.
“United Showreel of Ukrainian Agencies” presents Ukrainian agencies that can worthily represent the country’s advertising industry and become reliable and professional partners for advertisers around the world. The show includes 36 agencies-members of the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition who have sent their video business cards.
Don’t forget! You can help the Ukrainian advertising industry by accessing adaid.eu, a job search platform co-created in cooperation with industry organizations in Europe. This project wants to offer support by making it easier for people from Ukraine to find cooperation offers in EU countries and contact companies and other entities from the creative industry.
