Forbes: Tamara Daltroff, Named as One of the Voices for Sustainability in Advertising
Tamara Daltroff, Director General of the European Association of Communication Agencies (EACA), has been selected by Forbes magazine as one of the voices for sustainable change in the advertising industry.
EACA and its members have a strong commitment to combating climate change and figuring out the role of advertisers in sustainability. Since 2021, EACA runs a Task Force to play a supportive and leading role by providing strategic advice on fighting greenwashing, reducing the industry’s emissions and communicating responsibly.
EACA is also supporting the international rollout of Ad Net Zero, the programme to reduce the emissions from advertising operations to net zero by 2030. This initiative was announced last week at Cannes Lions festival and EACA is collaborating with major advertising agency holding companies, advertisers, and regional and local agency associations to drive forward it. A global Ad Net Zero summit will be run in parallel with the COP27 Climate Change Conference in November.
