Public Affairs Intern Wanted!

The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA), a Brussels-based organisation representing full-service advertising, media agencies, and agency associations in Europe, is currently recruiting a Public Affairs (PA) Intern to assist EACA’s Senior Public Affairs Advisor. The position is available to start as soon as possible, and the internship period is negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the Senior Public Affairs Advisor in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
· Assisting in organising different Public Affairs events and policy briefings taking place in the European Parliament and at other EU institutions.
· Conducting research and preparing policy briefings.
· Providing administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining contact databases.
· Assisting in drafting reports, newsletters, and other communication materials.
· Supporting the coordination of public affairs projects and campaigns.
· Communicating PA updates to our members through different channels (Linkedin, Instagram, news items, newsletters)
· Engaging in lobbying activities, including meeting with politicians and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
· Fluency in English, both oral and written, as it is the working language of the organisation.
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work effectively with people from different nationalities.
· Strong research and analytical skills.
· Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, EU Studies, or a related field.
· Interest in multichannel communication (social media, website, visuals)
· Interest in EU affairs, policy, and the advertising world.
· Interest in lobbying and public affairs, with an opportunity to meet politicians.
