Recording: Why Awards Build Careers Session in Cannes

The image shows a performance with many participants holding up signs addressing gender representation disparities. Prominent signs include messages such as "OHFG! MEN 76%" and "OHFG! WOMEN 24%," along with calls to action like "Let's act to change the numbers!" Tamara Daltroff, CEO of EACA, stands at a podium in the background, addressing the crowd.

During this year’s Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity Open House for Good – a 2-hour window where Le Palais des Festivals is open to the public – the EACA DEI Task Force hosted a conversation with leading creative thinkers and marketers to explore how awards advance the careers of leading creatives and address why representation isn’t improving fast enough.

Moderated by Seth Matlins, Forbes’ CMO Network Managing Director, the conversation featured DDB’s Global CCO, Chaka Sobhani, Kate Cronin, Moderna‘s Global CMO, Kyoko Yonezawa, TBWA\Hakuhodo’s Head of Innovation, and Jo Wallace, Global ECD of Jellyfish by day and founder of “Good Girls Eat Dinner”.

If you didn’t have the chance to attend this session and you want to know more about the gender gap within creatives in our industry, this is your opportunity to catch up!
