This new category recognises the vital role that advertising and communications can play in promoting civic engagement, inclusive institutions, media literacy, and democratic values. It will celebrate impactful campaigns from brands and NGOs that inspire audiences to protect and advance fundamental freedoms, from human rights and fair representation to freedom of expression, with proven, measurable results.
