EACA Launches High-Level Jury of Industry Experts and EU Parliament Members for #Campaign4Good

The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) has announced the jury line-up for #Campaign4GOOD: Safety by Design, a pan-European competition mobilising young creatives to put children’s rights and safety at the heart of the digital world.

This cross-industry jury demonstrates strong, united support for the initiative and its mission to advance responsible, child-first communication and design across the advertising sector, and we are delighted that as well as the industry professionals on the Jury, we have two members of the European Parliament who are giving up some of their valuable time to assess the shortlisted campaigns.

In collaboration with the 5Rights Foundation and ACT Responsible, this year’s competition challenges entrants to create a public awareness campaign that exposes harmful, addictive design practices and calls for safer, fairer digital environments for minors. The jury will select the winning idea, which, in partnership with EACA members and media partners, will be produced and distributed pro bono across Europe in 2026.

High-level jury underscores sector leadership.

The jury brings together senior leaders from major agencies, civil society and the European Parliament, including representatives from McCann, Dentsu, TBWA, BBDO, Ogilvy, Innocean, Adam&Eve alongside EACA leadership and youth representatives.

Confirmed jurors include (selection):

  • Charley Stoney, CEO, EACA

“I could not be prouder of this initiative to help with one of the biggest challenges of our time – how to keep our children safe in the digital world.” says Charley Stoney, CEO, EACA. “I cannot wait to see the resulting campaign rollout across Europe and empower citizens to demand change.  The support and collaboration from 5Rights Foundation, ACT, the EP and from EACA members who have the creative power and media support to make this happen cannot be underestimated.  Thank you all so much!”.

“Globally, one in three internet users is a child. The online world is not optional for these children. Various studies put screen time for kids at around 40 hours per week on average. That’s the equivalent of a full-time job. Four in 10 children, that is around 40 to 50 per cent on average globally, say that they rarely disconnect from social media. The solution must be upstream. So, it must be about changing the system itself”, expressed Leanda Barrington-Leach, Executive Director, 5Rights Foundation

The winning campaign will be announced at the Effie Europe Gala Dinner in Brussels on 10 December 2025, where it will be presented by Commissioner Michael McGrath, responsible for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law, and Consumer Protection.
